I typically buy sunglasses from CVS or Walmart, never spending much more than $20 so I've never been much for spending for expensive items for the sake of having that status symbol. The reason being, I figure I'll loose or sit on them before they break on their own. I'd deal with the lenses popping out after 6 months or the paint (coating?) eventually pealing off. I'd simply get another pair.Honestly, the only reason I bought these was because I had credit card points and I do like how they look. No doubt they're of a noticeably higher quality. Are they $100 better? That's debatable. I could of bought 6 pairs of the "cheap" sunglasses. However, the quality and clarity is undeniable and damn it, I deserve a treat once in a while.All and all, I'm happy with them and just as importantly, they're comfortable. I probably wouldn't spend out of pocket cash on them. Let's see if I loose them or sit on themThese sunglasses are perhaps my favorite style I've ever owned. After years of buying "cheap" sunglasses at discount retailers and seeing them break I finally decided to check out some decent quality ones. I bought my original pair from a brick and mortar retailer and absolutely loved them. For my fairly large head and angular features these sunglasses were an excellent compliment, and I had more than a few female friends tell me that I looked quite handsome in them.Well, unfortunately one day my sunglasses took a tumble onto the pavement and a lens cracked right down the middle. So I found myself looking around for replacements and found the exact same style here. Using the numeric codes from the inside of the frame I was able to order an exact replacement for the pair that I broke at about half the original price.Everything appears to be authentic. The lenses have the little RB etched in exactly the same place, the codes are all the same and in the proper font and the construction feels just as solid as my original pair.I definitely recommend trying on sunglasses in person, especially with Ray Bans as they have different size frames and bridges and those few millimeters can make a huge difference on the fit. But, once you know your size they are easy to re-order online.The glasses are good if used as sunglasses as is however these were purchased for my wife to have prescription lenses installed. When our optometrist tried to get Ray Ban to install lenses they declined and we were told that was not possible. We have had it done with other frames so it is possible with the correct frames. We were not given an explanation so I don’t know if there is a problem with the frames or something else...These are my second pair of Ray Bans that I currently own. The others are the 3212, which are a bit narrower, and semi rimless. Purchased these both for a different look that is less "tech" a bit more high end, as well as dealing with recovery from eye surgery. Being a bit wider, these still fit my face, but have darker tinting (still fine for driving) and wrap around somewhat, which is great for light sensitivity now, and active outdoor adventures in the future.Made in China, as are most of the Ray Bans these days. Some still made in Italy, but don't expect that when you are purchasing. My only real complaint is that they come with an awful case, but I use one that came with other sunglasses instead.Very stylish. Can go well with anything from shorts to a dressed up day for work, and get the job done. Highly recommended!I read a lot of the reviews about people complaining about these glasses being knockoffs, so I did some research before buying these. It turns out these pair of glasses are made both in China and Italy, although you may be hard pressed to find ones actually made in Italy. I went to a few Sunglasses Hut to check these out and they all said they were made in China. With that, I went ahead and bought them.These glasses are definitely described, I go the G-15 so the lenses are made from glass, and the frame is pretty sturdy. Other than that they do a great job of fighting the glare and look great.I purchased the 62mm 3364's with gunmetal frame and g-15 lenses. They fit like a dream and look great too! I have a large build and head but if you have a smaller frame or head I would suggest the 59mm. I have owned many pair of sunglasses in my day and these are the best feeling and fitting glasses I have owned. I purchased them from Gaffos inc. and they are 100% authentic. I believe some people need to do some research on Ray Bans. There are several models now made in China and these just happen to be one of them. They have the same quality and fit as the others made in Italy. They have all the identifying marks on the glasses and barcodes on the box so don't worry yourself about knockoff's. I would highly recommend these glasses to everyone!I have rated these as 4 stars and it has nothing to do with the quality or craftsmanship. These glasses were perfect for my head size (slender head therefore ordered 59mm). The only negative I have is for the lenses. I really wanted polarized lenses but wish more colors/tints were available from ray ban. These crystal green are great looking, but are a little darker than I prefer. I was replacing a pair of Costa-del-mar sunglasses for pure styling reasons and find that they work better in lower light situations. All in all, a great purchase.These are quite simply the best sunglasses in the world. I ordered mine from the UK and they came through in about 2 weeks. Absolutely perfect - great fit, look sleek and at an absolute bargain of a price. Those people complaining that these are made in China obviously know very little of the Ray Ban brand. I had to laugh when I read some people still thought this was a US company....The truth is if you buy directly from Amazon.com, rather then a marketplace seller or third party vendor then you will never receive a fake. It just doesn't happen.Exactly as described and the measurements given match. Arrived very quickly too. Very happy with glasses and they fit me perfectly (regards sizing, I'm a female with an average sized head, I'd imagine if you have a larger sized head you'd find them too small)My second pair of Ray Bans, nothing special about them and both pairs seem to give me a headache after half an hour of wearing them.What we have come to expect from Ray - Ban qualitylook great, you cant put a price on eye protection in my opinion.LOVE THEM
